This is a catalogue of work by Doulton artist Martha Rogers.
Martha Rogers worked at Doultons for a relatively short time, from 1870-1885. In that time, she produced both Lambeth ware and Silicon ware. Works by her of both types are illustrated in the ‘bible’ on Doulton, The Doulton Lambeth Wares by Desmond Eyles and Louise Irvine. The reason for her relatively short stay with an employer for whom 40 years was very frequent, is not known.
