This delightful, but unusual little (6in) reticulated Doulton Lambeth vase has a strange colour combination. The top half is in a combination of browns and the lower half is in a combination of blues and greens.
The vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth and the date 1880 underneath. It also has the monogram of the designer, Nellie Garbett, her design number 619, and the monogram of an unidentified assistant. The vase weighs 420g.
The vase is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing restoration, or significant scratches. One of the apertures under the rim has closed due to the running of excess glaze.
