An early 3.25" Doulton Lambeth vase of the highest quality in exceptional condition.
This little vase has the impressed Doulton mark and the monogram 'AS' of an unknown designer, with Nellie Garbett as her assistant. It is numbered '41'. It shows a sophistication of design that is noteworthy as it was produced within ten years of George Tinworth establishing the decorative products department at Doultons. The beading is of the finest with, in places, 15 beads per inch.
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, restoration, or scratches.
