A lovely 11" tubelined stoneware Art Nouveau vase with roses by one of the most fastidious ceramic artists of the early 20th century - Jane Hurst.
The design of the vase probably dates from the first decade of the 20th century. It has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with Crown and Lion and the series number 7816E. It also has the incised monogram of Jane Hurst. The vase is one of a series of shapes, all with the same very popular rose motifs, and made in different colours.
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips cracks, crazing restoration or scratches.
