A pretty, 5.5" Winnie Bowstead (14cm) Royal Doulton vase produced in the 1930s with fuschia decoration. The vase has a collar of blue with leaves and open flowers on one side and leaves and buds to the reverse.

The vase has the mongrams of Winnie Bowstead and her assistant Ada Tosen. Probably produced in the 1903s, it is one of the few Doulton vases with true representations of flowers. It has the impressed Doulton Lambeth Mark with lion, and the series number 8672F.

CONDITION.

The vase is in totally original condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. It has the odd pinprick and minor inclusion in the glaze from the original firing. I cannot even find a scratch in the glaze.
