A 20cm tall Royal Doulton stoneware Art Deco vase with grape and vine leaf decoration.
Unfortunately the artist's monogram has been obscured by the printed Lambeth mark. This mark was used on a series of pigment brush-line decorated wares in the late 1920s. The vase also has the impressed Doulton Circle mark with Lion that started in 1922. The designer is almost certainly Vera Huggins. For a similar grape and vineleaf design see page 229 of Desmond Eyles' 'The Doulton Lambeth Wares'.
The vase is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
