Siliconware can be geometric in pattern and somewhat severe, but this little ewer has the scent of Spring Flowers. A charming ewer by one of the finest of the late 19th century designers.
The 7in (17.5cm) ewer has the Doulton Lambeth Silicon impressed mark, and is signed in monogram by Edith Lupton. It also has the monogram of Edith Lupton's assistant, Ada Tosen. The ewer weighs 816g
The ewer is in superb condition, and has remained virtually unmarked for the 130 years of its history.
