John Broad -an 11.5in (29cm) Doulton Lambeth vase - 10

This two handled vase is a real exhibition quality show piece, by one of Doulton’s most important and influential figures. A true tour-de-force.

The 11.25in (28.5cm) Doulton Lambeth vase is signed by John Broad in monogram, dated 1884, and numbered 10 by him. It is also signed by another unrecorded designer “GBD” and numbered 602 by him. The vase weighs 2236g.

No damage or restorations – it’s 100% in mint condition. There is a thin glaze to the interior of the top rim – see photo No2.
