What a joy to find a pair of Florence Barlow vases that are the epitome of precision and quality, and that are in 100% mint condition. Florence E Barlow was not only able to do bird vases, she was brilliant at the traditional Victorian style as well.
These 6.25in (16cm) Doulton Lambeth vases have the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the date 1877. They are signed in monogram by Florence E Barlow, numbered 9 & 10 by her, and are also signed by her assistant, Harriet Hibbutt. The vases weigh 1290g.
