This bowl is quite superb and a real joy! Apart from the most minute indentations on the rim, it cannot be faulted. With a newly re-plated rim and full gloss glaze all over the bowl it looks as if it is brand new - which it is not! Three cartouches by Florence Barlow of partridges(?) encircle this beautiful bowl.
The 9in (22.5cm) Doulton Lambeth bowl has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark and the date of 1885. It is signed in monogram by Florence E Barlow, and carries her number - 598. The bowl weighs 1502g.
