A lovely vase in typical Florence Barlow style, with two panels of birds. Four birds sit on a branch at the front of the vase, but by the time you get around the other side, one of them has flown!
The 9.5in (24cm) vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the date 1887. It is signed in monogram by Florence Barlow, Alice Budden and Annie Gentle, and numbered 157 by Florence Barlow. The vase weighs 1045g.
The neck of the vase has at some time suffered damage. This has been professionally and invisibly restored, and the vase is now in excellent condition.
