Eliza Simmance and William Baron - A 6.5in (16cm) Doulton Lambeth - 741

A joint venture by two of the leading designers of the time – Eliza Simmance and William Baron. Highly glazed and with a traditional design, it is an unusual and very attractive little vase from the 1880s when pâte-sur-pâte was popular.

A 6.5in (16cm) pâte-sur-pâte vase weighing 464g with the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark and the date 1883. It is signed in monogram, by both Eliza Simmance and William Baron and numbered 741.
