A superb quality classic example of the early work of this exceptional designer. Signed with her early signature, this small jar would look perfect in almost any room of the house, and make an excellent little present!
The 4.75in (11.5cm) lidded jar has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the included date of 1876.It is signed on the jar and on the lid by Eliza Simmance, with the monogram that is found only on her early works. The jar weighs 587g.
A small rim chip has been professionally and invisibly restored. Tere is a firing crack to the underside of the lid.
