Two vases with one theme. We have bracketed them together as they are both to a design of Vera Huggins, but only one carries her monogram.
Both Vera Huggins vases have the impressed Doulton mark with lion, dating them to post 1922.
Vase No1. A 6in (15cm) vase with the monogram of Vera Huggins and a series number 5521
Vase No2. An 11.5in (29cm) vase with the monogram of Lily Partington, and the series number 5520.

The smaller vase has a vertical stripe where the intensity of the blue glaze is slightly less than the rest of the vase.
