Vera Huggins appears to be the first designer to adapt some of the 19th century Doulton Burslem techniques to the Lambeth output. With its drip glaze. this vase is reminiscent of the Sung and Chang output of the Doulton Burslem Factory.

The 5in (12.5cm) vase has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with lion. It is signed in monogram by Vera Huggins and her (always reliable) assistant Florrie Jones. It is numbered 2430. The vase weighs 547g.
