A very early 6in (15cm) jug by Rosina Harris

A very early Doulton Lambeth 6in (15cm) jug by Rosina Harris in 100% mint condition. These jugs were made for normal domestic use in a variety of sizes from 5in to 11in - see page263 of The Doulton Lambeth Wares by Desmond Eyles and Louise Irvine.

The 6” (15cm) jug had the impressed Doulton Lambeth oval mark with the date of 1875 impressed within it. It is signed in monogram by Rosina Harris. The jug weighs 591g.

The jug is in totally original condition, without defects or restoration.
