We didn't normally buy (or sell) Doulton and Salter’s Patent items, but this 10in (25cm) vase was so pretty that we could not resist. Like all the other items on this website it is now however sold.
The vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark, with the word ‘ENGLAND’ underneath, dating the vase to the period 1892-1902. It also has the series number 4004, and the Doulton and Slater’s Patent mark. The vase weighs 800g/
The vase is in superb condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, restoration or significant scratches. The gilt top rim shows some sign of wear.
