Another gem that demonstrates the genius of Eliza Simmance! An 8in (20cm) vase with a design and colour scheme that must have looked very avant garde at the time the vase was made somewhere in the period 1892-1902. The vase weighs 633g.
The vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the word ENGLAND underneath it, dating the vase to the period 1892-1902. It is monogrammed by Eliza Simmance and her assistant, the ever reliable Bessie Newbery! The vase is numbered 444
The condition of the vase is simple perfect! No chips, cracks, crazing, restoration or significant scratches. Fresh from the kiln well, about 120 years ago!
