This slender 7.5in (18.5cm) Doulton Lambeth vase by Elizabeth Hubert is very reminiscent of the pâte-sur-pâte designs by Eliza Simmance, both with respect to the shapes and colours – but much cheaper! For a comparison, see the pair of pâte-sur-pâte vases by Eliza Simmance on the website.
The vase has the Doulton Lambeth rosette mark, and the date 1883. It is signed in monogram by Eliza Hubert. We have attached a photo of this vase with a pair of Eliza Simmance vases to show the design similarities with those vases. The vase weighs 300g.
