An item of Royal Doulton that is rare and quirky. Candlesticks are common, but chamber sticks are rare, and this is a very attractive one! The designer is not known, and the decorator, ‘LF’ is unfamiliar. Its desirability rests solely on its attractive qualities, and not on its heritage!

The chamber stick has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with crown and lion. It is signed in monogram by Maud Bowden and has the series number 672. The chamber stick weighs 720g.

The chamber stick is in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, restoration, or significant scratches. The waisted brass column would benefit from a clean and polish.
