Eliza Simmance started at Doulton in 1873. After 52 years there, in 1925, she designed this magnificent Royal Doulton 35cm (13.5in) vase. It is no wonder that her work is collected with such enthusiasm. A big vase that makes a bold statement at a weight of 2263g.
The vase has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with crown and lion. It is signed in monogram and numbered 466. It is code-dated with a ‘w’ for 1925, just 52 years after she joined Doultons!
The vase is in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, restoration or significant scratches.
