Florence Barlow - A Doulton Lambeth 15cm (6”) bowl on brass base – 532

This glorious bowl that is so reminiscent of some of the Victorian illustrators such as Arthur Rackham, came with a hole in the base and no stand. The base that it now sits on is a brass candlestick modified for the purpose. The bowl is 6in (15cm) in diameter and is 9.25in (23cm) tall.

The bowl has the incised monogram of Florence Barlow, the date 1879, and Florence Barlow’s number 532. It is also monogrammed by another recorded designer, Jacqueline Newnham. The bowl weighs 1173g.
