This is one of the 'New Style' vases launched by Doultons in about 1912 (see p217 of 'The Douton Lambeth Wares' by Desmond Eyles and Louise Irvine). It has the colours of Art Nouveau, but the strong colour blocks of Art Deco.
The 9in (22cm) vase is signed in monogram by Jane Hurst. It has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with crown and lion and the series number 8010. The vase weighs 1237g.
The vase is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing restoration or significant scratches. On close inspection, the main blue body of the vase has a number of small (and original) holes in the glaze. These can be seen in the photos if the images are zoomed. It's not perfect, but then "Look at the price"!
