A large and statuesque mint condition Royal Doulton vase from the early 20th century designed at the period where Victorian design started to give way to Art Nouveau. Either as a functional vase for tall flowers, or as just a display item, this large vase would be a winner.
The 14in (35cm) Doulton & Slater vase has the Royal Doulton impressed with crown and lion, the series number 6764, and the incised monogram of Emily Partington. The vase weighs 1844g.
The vase is in the condition in which it left the kiln! No chips,cracks, crazing, restoration, or significant scratches.
