A Royal Doulton vase in mint condition, monogrammed by Winnie Bowstead probably dating from the period of transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco - late 1920s to early 1930s.

The vase has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with lion, dating it to the period after 1922. It has a series number 654 and another illegible number. It is signed in monogram by Winnie Bowstaed.
The vase weighs 1167g.

The vase is in 100% original condition. The floral band around the upper part has been initially coated with a dark underglaze. During firing some of the coloured overglazes have 'burnt' off, leaving small areas of the dark underglaze showing. This does not spoil the overall appearance of the vase.
