A very rare opportunity to acquire an impressive set of three Royal Doulton, Mark V Marshall designed, items, one carrying his monogram. The jugs are 21cm (10.25in) tall and the bowl is 20cm (8in) in diameter.
One jug has the incised signature of Mark V Marshall, with the impressed Royal Doulton mark, the Art Union of London mark, the series number 9012 and Mark Marshall's design number 688. The other jug has the Art Union of London mark, a 'Doulton Lambeth England' impressed mark and an assistant's mark 'LB'. The bowl has an incised monogram 'MH', the Royal Doulton impressed mark and the series number 26Y. Both the second jug and the bowl have the impressed monogram 'ttt' of Eleanor Tosen.
