A pair of fine 7in (17.5cm) Doulton Lambeth ewers by Florence Barlow with studies of partridges set amongst the long grass.
The ewers have the Doulton Lambeth ‘England’ impressed mark, dating them to the period 1891-1902. One has the incised monogram of Florence Barlow, and both have Florence Barlow’s design number 628 underneath. The 2 ewers weigh 954g.
Apart from a repaired break in the handle of one ewer, the pair of ewers are in excellent condition, without other cracks, chips, crazing, or even significant scratches.
