A Doulton Lambeth three piece cruet set with harvest/hunting scenes, and hallmarked silver rims. All three items are consistent in style, but have differing hallmarks.
The mustard and pepperette have the Doulton Lambeth mark with ‘England’, dating them to 1891 to 1902, and the salt has a Royal Doulton mark. All rims are hallmarked in Birmingham, the mustard 1898, the pepperette 1902, and the salt 1903. The cruet weighs 241g.
The ceramic parts of this item are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. The hallmarked silver tops/rims are all distorted in some way. The cellar has small indentations on the rim, the pepperette has a minor distortion on one side, and the mustard pot lid has suffered some overall distortion.
